Install Tickerdata

Learn how to install and set up Tickerdata in Google Sheets.

Overview

Tickerdata is a powerful Google Sheets add-on that brings real-time stock market data directly into your spreadsheets. This guide will walk you through the installation process.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • A Google account
  • Access to Google Sheets
  • A supported web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge)

Installation Steps

Open Google Sheets

Navigate to Google Sheets and create a new spreadsheet or open an existing one.

Access the Add-ons Menu

Click on Extensions in the menu bar, then select Add-onsGet add-ons.

Search for Tickerdata

In the Google Workspace Marketplace, search for “Tickerdata” in the search bar.

Install the Add-on

Click on the Tickerdata add-on, then click Install. Follow the prompts to grant the necessary permissions.

Permissions

In order to use Tickerdata, you will need to grant all permissions requested. These are necessary in order to fetch real-time stock market data and perform other operations within your Google Sheets.

Verify Installation

After installation, you should see Tickerdata appear under ExtensionsTickerdata in the menu.

First-time Setup

After installation, you may need to refresh your spreadsheet for Tickerdata functions to become available.
